Getting started

What does Texas RE PREP cover?

Texas RE PREP™ is focused practice for the State Portion of the Texas real estate license exam — the Texas-specific law and rules section, not the National (Uniform) portion. We are not affiliated with TREC or Pearson VUE.

Do I still need to complete pre-licensing education?

Yes. TREC requires completing its approved pre-licensing courses before you can sit the exam. Texas RE PREP™ is exam-day practice for after your coursework is done — it does not replace that requirement.

Taking a practice exam

Am I seeing questions I have already answered?

About repeat questions

Each subject has its own question bank. Every attempt serves questions you have not answered yet before ones you have, so repeat attempts stay fresh for a long time. The bank is not infinite — if you practice a subject heavily you will begin to see questions you have answered before, and your history is kept, so returning to one you previously missed is part of the preparation. We write and add new questions to these subjects on an ongoing basis, and anything added during your access period is included at no extra cost.

I closed the tab in the middle of a mock exam. Can I continue?

Yes. Come back to the same subject and the attempt you left open is restored, with the same questions in the same order. The score and review screen are produced only when you reach the end of an attempt, so an unfinished exam will not show results until it is completed.

Your results

Is this the official TREC exam?

No. We are an independent practice platform and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) or Pearson VUE. Our questions are independently authored and modeled after the State Portion's format and coverage, but the exam that issues your license is the one TREC and Pearson VUE administer.

Your account and signing in

I forgot my password, or the reset email never arrived.

Use the password reset page with the email address on the account. If it is not in your inbox, check Spam or Junk — we send from a gmail.com address with links to texasreprep.com, and some providers file that combination there. If nothing has arrived after a few minutes, write to aiswingx.com@gmail.com and we will get you back in.

I paid, but the subject is not open when I sign in.

Almost always this is a second account: the purchase sits on the account that was signed in at checkout. Check My Purchases while signed in — if the subject is listed there, it is active on that account. If the list is empty, send us a message with the email address on the receipt and we will connect the purchase to the account you are using.

Payment and refunds

What is your refund policy?

A full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not accessed any paid content. Paid content counts as accessed the moment you start a paid mock exam, answer any of its questions, or view your score — after that, the purchase is non-refundable. Free sample questions never affect this.

Terms of Service
How long do I have access after I pay?

3 months (90 days) from the purchase date, for the subject you purchased. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal — it's a single, one-time charge. After 90 days you can purchase again at the then-current price if you still need access.

About this service

Why only the State Portion?

Most national prep courses are built around the National (Uniform) portion, since it's shared across states, and treat the Texas-specific State Portion as an afterthought. We built Texas RE PREP™ to focus on exactly that gap, rather than diluting effort across content that doesn't apply to a Texas candidate.
